Managing Our Fireshed: Prescribed fire to address our fuels crisis- October 26 and November 9 (Workshop does not include an active prescribed fire)

This is a 2 day workshop:
Saturday October 26 from 9am-2pm at the Woolman Campus
Saturday November 9 from 9am-2pm meet at the Rood Center (Nevada County government building)
Please note that the workshop will NOT include participation in an active prescribed fire.
This is the registration form for the two day workshop on basic prescribed fire theory and practice.
Please fill out this form to confirm your spot. In order to attend the first class these additional documents must be received: Emergency Contact, Photo Release, and Liability Release on the first day of the workshop. No exceptions. Download, print, and fill out the documents using the following links:
A Sierra Streams Institute staff member will be in contact with you after you have submitted the form to confirm you are in the workshop.
Payment for the course is a sliding scale.
The cost fore the workshop is: $30 for California Naturalist Alumni
$40 for the General Public
Additional donations to develop and run these types of workshops in the future are always welcome!
We prefer payment by check.
