Rhythm Player Coach Teams
Are you looking for a way to improve your RW skills?   Do you want to train on a team?  Do you want to compete at skydiving?  Whether you want to brush up your RW skills, learn more about competition 4- or 8-way, or augment other team plans, Rhythm player-coach teams are a great opportunity.  Teams will be matched up by similar goals and skill levels, so whether you're new to the sport and want a fun and safe learning environment, or have competed before and want to train more seriously, this project will have an option for you.

Each 4- and 8-way team will include one Rhythm captain as player-coach, 3 or 7 participants, and video.  8-way teams will compete at USPA National Championships.  4-way teams will have an option to compete in NSL meets and to compete with a substitute coach at USPA National Championships.

Your Rhythm captain will take care of all of the communication, planning, organization, coordination with dropzone, tunnel, video, packers, alternates, etc.  The budget and schedule are set ahead of time -- there will be no surprises or additions (unless all team members agree to add training).  You just show up, train, compete with your team, learn a ton and enjoy!

-- Avoid the hassles of organizing a team, coordinating training, finding video, keeping a team together and other challenges.
-- Budget and schedule are set so there are no surprises or extra expenses
-- Train at two world-class facilities – Skydive Chicago and Paraclete XP.  Paraclete XP is the ONLY wind tunnel in the US large enough for much of the 8 way and all of the 4 way blocks and randoms.  Skydive Chicago has 2 lightening-fast Super Twin Otters as well as an awesome facility, including a huge hangar, cafe, campground, full service gear and rigging shop, lounge, Tiki Bar, gym, swimming pond, auditorium, and more.
-- Train alongside other 4 and 8 way teams for added learning, encouragement and camaraderie
-- Training is consolidated into as few camps as possible to get the training in - roughly one weekend a month April - September, leaving you plenty of time for other jumping, other teams, family, and other activities
-- Get the most out of your training by having a coach planning every camp and on every jump
-- Guarantee a positive and safe learning environment by having a coach guide the team through an efficient, goal-based, positive training process
-- Team training plans and engineering have been developed using methods developed and used by Rhythm over the past 7 years
-- Learn and improve your RW skills in ways that only team training can provide
-- There will be multiple teams with varied goals, experience levels and commitment.  Whether you want a fun, low key team, or want to train hard, we may have an option for you.

CHECK OUT WHAT SOME OF THE PREVIOUS YEARS' PARTICIPANTS HAVE TO SAY:

“What an awesome experience I have had this year being on a Rhythm XP player coached team! The Rhythm coaches know how to teach the skills in a fun filled environment. Our team, Accelerando left each camp much improved and confident.”
  Earl, SDC Accelerando, 2013

“One of the biggest advantages being on a player coach team is that you don't have to waste time and jumps trying to figure things out- you have a coach there all the time to engineer the dives and provide feedback.  I have enough experience to look at video and know that I'm not doing something right, but I don't always know how to make it right.  Having a coach to provide that feedback means that I can make the correction on the very next dive, rather than going through a frustrating series of trials and errors trying to get there on my own.”
Gretchen, SDC Octimus Prime, 2013

“The coaches of Rhythm do an excellent job of teaching in a focused and positive way while maintaining a fun jumping environment. The skills I learned through just a few weekends with Rhythm were more than I would have learned in a couple seasons otherwise.”
Jordan, SDC Tempo, 2011

“Training with and learning from Rhythm has made me a much better skydiver.  Their training and tunnel camps are excellent and they are outstanding teachers who love what they do. I strongly recommend training with Rhythm if you are serious about skydiving and want to improve your flying skills and become a more knowledgeable and safer skydiver.   Whether you are new to the sport or an experienced skydiver, their unique training style and uncanny ability to connect with any student or experienced skydiver ensures that your flying skills will improve.  In the end you will be a better and safer skydiver, which we all know is great for the sport.  Thanks Rhythm! “
Hank, SDC Tempo, 2011, SDC Accelerando, 2013

“When I did the PC program in 2012 I learned a ton!  And not just about how to be a better skydiver, but about how a successful team functions in the air and on the ground.  On my current 4way team three of us are PC veterans and so we're able to get the most out of each jump and training camp.  Rhythm's PC program was a great investment.”
Courtney, SDC Flow, 2012, SDC Octimus Prime, 2013

"If you are serious about advancing your skydiving skills, four way or otherwise, this is a fantastic program.  You simply will not get this amount of learning and improvement anywhere else.  The Rhythm coaches are not only excellent skydivers, they are exceptional coaches and teachers.  Being a part of this program has resulted in my ability to start a 4-way team at my home DZ with three folks I met through this project.  I very strongly recommend the player coach program!"
Dave, SDC Fource, 2012

“The team project has been such a rewarding experience and a wonderful opportunity…Learning from an outstanding coach, training hard with great skydivers from all over the US, improving immensely on my flying skills, creating long-lasting friendships with teammates, it’s a win-win situation that I would recommend to anyone wanting to achieve both team and personal goals!”
Deb, SDC Synergy, 2010, SDC Angry Birds, 2011

“From our time in the Paraclete XP tunnel, through the training dives, preparation, debriefs, etc. I have been extremely pleased with the SDC Rhythm 8-way project.  The SDC Rhythm 8-way program is extremely worth the money and time spent.”
Eric, SDC Synergy, 2010
