Farm Planning for Planting & Profit!

Start your growing season with planning: setting your financial goals, picking the crops you want to grow and those that are profitable. In this session, you'll get hands-on and learn to use online tools and desk top spreadsheets to make your growing year profitable!

Event Details

Date: Saturday, January 17
Time: 10 AM - 2 PM
Format: In-person demonstrations of applications and concepts, then hands-on experience using your own laptop and data
Location: KC Farm School, 4223 Gibbs Road, Kansas City, KS 66106

  • Bring a charged laptop, your farm map, production plan, and sales goals
  • Lunch is provided

About KC F.A.R.M.E.R.S. Coalition
KC F.A.R.M.E.R.S. (aka Kansas City Farmers and Ranchers for Mentoring, Education, and Resource Sharing) Coalition is a project led by KC Farm School at Gibbs Road and Kansas City Black Urban Growers Inc. (KC BUGs). It was developed with seasoned growers and ranchers to provide support, community, and hands-on education for aspiring and new growers and ranchers across the Kansas City region and to transition/preserve farmland for the coming generations.
