This agreement covers: *
Foster/Adopter Responsibilities

I agree to:

Provide food, shelter, exercise, and love to the animal.

Keep the animal indoors and provide safe outdoor time as appropriate.

Bring the animal to vet appointments or adoption events as requested (for fosters).

Not sell, give away, or abandon the animal under any circumstances.

Contact Finding Meadows immediately if I cannot continue fostering or wish to return the animal after adoption.

Follow all local laws and ordinances regarding pet ownership. *
Medical Care and Expense

While fostering, Finding Meadows covers pre-approved vet expenses.

Upon adoption, I assume full financial responsibility for routine and emergency veterinary care. The animal will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Trial Adoption Period (Foster-to-Adopt Only)

The foster-to-adopt period is 90 days from the date the animal enters the foster home.

During this time, Finding Meadows retains legal ownership of the animal.


At the end of the trial period:

Adoption finalized (adopter assumes ownership)

Animal returned to Finding Meadows

Return Policy
If at any time I can no longer care for the animal, I agree to return the animal to Finding Meadows and not rehome on my own. *
Liability
Finding Meadows is not liable for injuries, damages, or harm caused by the fostered/adopted animal once in my care. *
Adoption Fee (Foster-to-Adopt Only) I have paid the $100 foster-to-adopt fee. *

Failure to comply to this contract and the initial screening contract will result in removal of the dog and/or involving the necessary authorities to ensure the welfare and return of the dog.  *
