CAHL Mentor Program Mentor Information Sheet
The California Association of Health Care Leaders is always looking for professionals in the Healthcare arena who are interested in mentoring others. In order to be a mentor, you must be an active member of the California Association of Healthcare Leaders for at least 1 year.

Mentors have the option to participate as:
1) An informal mentor - where they may be connected with individuals seeking informational interviews, help with resume review or interview preparation. Most informal mentor/mentee relationships last 1-3 meetings, do not have a set structure, and is up to the mentor and mentee to determine how their mentor/mentee relationship evolves.

2) A formal mentor - where there is a 3 month commitment where it is expected that you complete 6 hours with a mentee during those 3 months (Usually a 1 hour conversation every 2 weeks). The Spring 2019 formal mentor program is from April-June 2019. Here is the timeline for the formal mentor program:

Matches Confirmed/Program Orientation: Wednesday, April 3, 2019
Program Begins: April 3, 2019
Closing Reception: Thursday June 27, 2019
