We will have a Book Swap in the Blue gym during the Pancake breakfast!
PRIZE FOR THE CLASSROOM THAT COLLECTS THE MOST BOOKS!
Details below:
*Students can bring gently USED books to their
classroom to donate on 3/14 & 3/15. Tickets will be distributed at pancake breakfast
to pick out books from the swap! (Max. 5)
*A signup sheet will be posted in each
classroom where students can write down how many picture or chapter books they
donated.
*Tickets will be distributed at the Pancake Breakfast. The books will be set up in the
Blue Gym.
*Students can receive a max of 5
tickets. If students choose to send in more than 5 books, we will consider it a
donation! Students can donate any amount of books. If they donate 1 book, they are able to pick out 1 book at the swap. They can donate as many as they'd like, but they can take home a maximum of 5 books. This is so we have a healthy amount of books at the swap.
*There will be two different colors of
tickets: one for picture books, and one for chapter books. Picture books
can be traded for other picture books, chapter books for other chapter
books. Picture books will be swapped with picture books. Chapter books swapped for Chapter books.
*If a student forgets to bring the books to school, they can bring them to the book swap on 3/16/24.
*If a student donates books, but can't make the book swap, we will have any remaining books available the week 3/18/24 for kids & teachers to choose what's left. Any remaining books will be donated to Scarce.
