Stuy Cove Park Re-design and Plant Giveaway
Stuyvesant Cove Park, a 2-acre native park located on Manhattan's east side, is creating a meadow! We are clearing space for rare native flowering plants and grasses that will be used for seed collection and ultimate preservation. And we need your help! Join us as we do a complete re-design of our second largest garden bed . We will be digging, dividing, organizing lay out and design. As a thank you, our gardeners will host a short workshop on how to use native plants in the garden AND each gardener will take one of the park's beautiful native wildflowers or grasses back to their own community garden.

** Please Bring your own bag (BYOB)! As plants will be given as bare roots. **

Date: Wednesday September 13th, 2017
