In partner dances such as Salsa and Bachata, there are what we call Leaders and Followers

A leader (or lead for short) is the person that first suggests the various moves done throughout the dance

A follower (or follow for short) is the person that chooses to accept the suggestions of the lead and can make the moves even more exciting by adding styling

 Leaders are generally men, and follows are generally women, but leading and following aren't gendered. Please choose the role that you would like to learn below :)
