A Forest for Every Classroom Application 2013

The first round of applications will be reviewed on February 1. Applications received after February 1 will be accepted as space permits. The course fee is $400. During the course, you will receive reimbursement for up to $100 in personal resource money to support your teaching and an opportunity to apply for a $100 mini-grant for your unit implementation. Scholarships may be available. Course Expectations:

1. Participate in ALL workshops and summer sessions.

2. Come with the strong support of your administrator - PLEASE PROVIDE A LETTER OF SUPPORT FROM YOUR ADMINISTRATOR AS PART OF THIS APPLICATION.

3. Develop a place-based teaching unit which utilizes the local landscape and meets the goals of your school.

4. Include service learning in your students’ experience.

5. Share your work and ideas with other educators.
