Letter To The Parents

"And indeed, We have made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember; then is there any that will remember" Surah Al-Qamar (Ch 54:32)

Dear Parents,

Assalamualaikum.

All praise and thanks belong to Allah, the High Exalted, the Beneficent, and the Merciful. May the Peace and Blessing of Allah be upon His Messenger and Servant, Muhammad (PBUH).  Welcome to NIS Sunday School. It is our hope that your child will find a satisfying and rewarding experience in the Islamic atmosphere of our school. The curriculum is designed to provide the basic knowledge needed for our Muslim Youth. The most distinguishing characteristic of the Islamic School is that it provides an environment that encourages the development and flourishing of an Islamic identity. The main goals of NIS Sunday School are to provide quality Islamic education, to instill a love of Islam in the students, and to graduate students who will practice Islam as a complete way of life. Furthermore, the school is the foundation upon which we hope to build a living Islamic community that adheres to the Qur'an and Sunnah.

We encourage parents to work closely with our school and become acquainted with your child's teachers. Cooperation between home and school is essential for your child's success.

This handbook contains basic information about the NIS Sunday School, including your responsibilities as a parent, a school calendar, and other important information about the operation of the school. Please keep this handbook available for reference throughout the school year. For assistance with any questions or concerns, the Principal is usually the best person to call.

We thank you and look forward to working together in building a better community and society.

May Allah accept our efforts and give us success. Ameen.

NIS Sunday School Management.
