Always dreamt of getting up on the podium and sharing your music with the world, but never really got the chance to? At the "Newbies: A Night for new bands on the block" you'll get the opportunity to play your songs in Cinetol, a loved venue located in Amsterdam, known for giving up and coming artists a stage.

On top of that, you will get the opportunity to partake in three workshops to prepare for the rest of your band's career. The first workshop will be an info session and an introduction, followed by a production / tech rider workshop lead by Cinetol's current production interns.

The second workshop will be dedicated to marketing, where we discuss press kits, marketing strategies, and end with some time dedicated to content for the show on 23 January. You'll also have the opportunity to take band press photos, if that's something your band would like. This workshop will be led by Cinetol's current Marketing + Programming Intern.

During the third session you'll get the chance to chat to Bandgurl666 - a programmer at Cinetol as well as an experienced DIY event organizer, who will teach you about how to pitch your band and think critically about your online personas as a band.
