The Student Advisory Council will be responsible for developing community amongst first-generation college students through leadership development, programming, and faculty/staff support. A representative from each class, in addition to 1-2 members at large will assist with advisory council initiatives. Each representative will also have a position as the student representative for 1 of the First-Gen Network subgroups. Participation on this Council is a minimum 1 year commitment (2 hours/2 meetings per month).
