On 26 May 2016 Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) in cooperation with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development will host a public lecture on “Property and environmental protection in Europe” presented by Professor Gerd Winter. Students, academia and law professionals are invited to attend.

Professor Winter is professor for public law, European law and the sociology of law. He is Director of the Research Unit for European Environmental Law (FEU) in the Department of Law, University of Bremen and one of the founding members of the Avosetta Group. He is editor of the book on “Property and Environmental Protection In Europe” (2016).

The public lecture will take place at the premises of RGSL from 15.00-18.00.
