Open Spaces Art Handler Application (temporary, contract)
Open Spaces will soon wrap up its inaugural exhibition on October 28 and seeks qualified art handles to de-install the exhibition beginning on October 29. This is a great way to gain experience with an international art exhibition, the first of its kind in the US.

The team will de-install and prepare artworks for shipping, and restore some sites to pre-exhibition conditions. Some environments are outdoors. Proper dress and equipment may be needed.

De-installations have varied hours and therefore handlers need to be flexible, have reliable transportation and communication. Orientation will take place the week of October 20.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience handling carefully handling art
- Bachelor of fine arts or equivalent preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Excellent verbal communication especially as it pertains to worker safety
