Morningside University Vocal Arts Festival 2026
Sunday, January 11, and Monday, January 12, 2026
Eppley Auditorium, Morningside University

Nomination Deadline: Friday, October 10, 2025.

Directors may nominate up to 12 of their very finest choral students (grades 10-12) to participate in the festival. You may suggest up to 3 sopranos, 3, altos, 3 tenors, and 3 basses. 

This FREE festival features:

- Rehearsal, performance, and masterclass collaboration with Kyle Pederson, Composer-in-Residence. Learn more about Kyle by visiting his website: https://www.kylepederson.com/ 

- Choral rehearsals and performance with Dr. Ryan Person, Director of Choral Activities

- Voice technique and lessons with Shannon Salyards Burton, Director of Voice Studies

- Masterclasses with other Morningside faculty and guest artists

- Masterclasses for directors with Kyle Pederson
