Please grade your assigned classmate on their group collaboration, on a scale of 1 - 5 and provide substantive feedback. Refer to the guidelines below for grading.
These assessments should be completed thoughtfully and fairly with an emphasis on helping classmates improve. Your scores from your group will be a large portion of your grade as group work and effective group learning is essential to the course. Grading should be both fair and constructive (you should not be awarding every classmate full points every week. Scores should vary and reflect careful thought). Ideally, scores will improve over time. It’s ok to give lower grades at the beginning of the semester as you are all learning to be better collaborators. When grading, consider group discussions in class, outside communication and interaction, blog comments, etc. The information provided is intended as a guideline--ultimately, you decide which category best fits the student you are grading. Please be thoughtful and constructive when writing feedback.
