Piano Lessons for
children or adults of various ages.
What we
offer:
*Individual weekly 30-minute, 45-minute and one hour lessons, one on one
with Natasha Miller, the professional instructor.
*Curriculum planned and crafted weekly,
especially for you or your child.
* In addition to weekly lessons, I offer numerous
performance opportunities, participation in music festivals, Christmas concert,
Spring Recital and etc. (participation is not required but is encouraged.)
*I teach Theory that helps every student to learn
the fundamentals of music, notation, rhythm, chords, scales.
*I teach technical skills from the start so that
each student develops a good technique from the beginning and will use and grow
those skills and keep those good habits for life.
*I do teach classical music as part of curriculum,
but I always search for additional fun music for each student, depending on
preferences and let a student choose music that I suggest, making sure that a
student likes it.
*I strongly emphasize developing reading music skills
from the start, so that eventually a student becomes independent of any
teachers and will be able to read and figure out any music, depending on the
level of difficulty.
Missed lessons
No make-up lessons will be given for any reason. Refunds
cannot be made for lessons cancelled. I will be happy to provide online lesson
during your or your child’s sickness or during bad weather at the designated
scheduled weekly day and time. However, if the teacher
misses the lesson, it will be made up or a refund will be given to you for the
missed lesson. Calendar for scheduled piano lessons includes scheduled school
breaks (Fall break, Christmas break, Thanksgiving break and Spring break) and 1
sick day for a teacher per semester. If teacher is sick 2 days per year, there
will be no make-up. Two sick days and school breaks are not included in tuition
and tuition is already adjusted accordingly.
Termination of
lessons
Termination of lessons is appropriate only at the end of the
semester and 1 month notice is required. The parent is responsible to pay
tuition for the entire year otherwise. In the case of relocation, I offer lessons
online and we will continue lessons through the end of year.
