You have been invited because you are 18 years old or over and you can speak English (even as L2).
3. Do I have to take part?
No: your participation is entirely voluntary.
4. What will happen to me if I take part in the research?
You will be asked to read two poems and complete a few tasks on each of them. The tasks involve ranking statements, completing scales, underlining passages, answering open questions. They will be the same for each poem. After that, you will have to complete two short questionnaires – a personal questionnaire, and one about your habits of visualizing objects and events. Both questionnaires are completely anonymous. The whole process should take you up to 25 minutes to complete.
5. Are there any potential risks in taking part?
There are no risks in taking part in this study. All your response data will be anonymized.
6. What happens to the data provided?
Any research data from which you can be identified (e.g., name, date of birth, audio recording) is known as personal data. The responses you provide during the study is research data. Research data will be stored in anonymized form to keep them separate from personal data. All personal information that could identify you will be removed or changed. Once the research is published, withdrawing your answers is no longer possible.
7. Will the research be published?
The processed research data is expected to be published in various publication outlets. Even after your answers will be made public, under no circumstances will your personal identity be made public, and you will never be asked to share your name and contact details.
