Haverhill Public Schools                    Discovery Club/Access 21- Out-of-School Time Program School Year 2025-2026
This is an application for enrollment into our Discovery Club/Access 21 programs. An application does not guarantee enrollment. We will send out notifications about acceptance or waitlist information at the end of August. Please do NOT send your student to our program without notification of acceptance.

Discovery Club
For students currently enrolled in grades 1-8 at Bradford, Golden Hill, Pentucket Lake, Silver Hill, & Tilton Elementary Schools as well as Consentino, Nettle & J.G. Whittier Middle Schools.

Haverhill Public Schools' (Discovery Club) Out-of-School Time Program is funded by Federal 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) and state After School and Out-of-School Time (ASOST) grants from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The Discovery Club program provides homework and academic support, and enrichment programs. It will be offered in-person on the days that students are in school.

Access 21
For students currently enrolled in grades 9-12 at Haverhill High School.

The Access 21 Program is funded by federal 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) and state After School and Out-of-School Time (ASOST) grants from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Access 21 is an enrichment program offered to students at Haverhill High after school. The purpose of Access 21 is to provide learning opportunities that will help to address high school, college, and workforce readiness success. Programs are taught by professional educators from Haverhill High School and qualified personnel recruited from the community.

In accordance with our grant funding, Discovery Club and Access 21 programming will primarily serve students who are high needs (i.e., low-income, at-risk academically and/or socially/emotionally, receive special education services, and/or are limited English proficient or whose first language is not English.)
