What is True/False?
True/False is an annual festival in Columbia, Missouri, USA, which strives to celebrate the best of international nonfiction. T/F brings together filmmakers, artists, and musicians to create an immersive and communal experience focused on cinema constructed from reality. In 2026, the festival will take place from Thursday, March 5th-March 8th.
What is CAMP True/False?

Taking place from Friday, March 6th-Sunday March 8th, Camp True/False is an inside track through the True/False Film Fest for local high school juniors and seniors, in which they will watch specially curated True/False films.

In addition, participants will have the opportunity to personally interact with internationally renowned filmmakers over dinner, participate in art workshops with local and non-local artists, and gain educational opportunities with media literacy as a focal point through discussions around documentary film led by Camp T/F Counselors (local college students with an interest in art, film, and education).

Counselors will be responsible for the camper's well being during the festival, fostering positive, proactive, and respectful learning environments, and guiding the campers around the festival grounds.

Other Dates To Note: If you are accepted into the 2026 Camp True/False Counselor Cohort you will also be asked to attend the Camp True/False Counselor Orientation in the morning of February ()f, 2026 and the general student orientation on the evening of  Friday February 27, 2026.
