Spring Sports Offerings:

Boys and Girls Track - open to 6th, 7th and 8th grade boys and girls - begins Monday, February 16. Head coach is Terry Drake (tdrake@shelton.org). Practices will be held on Monday - Thursday until 5:00pm. Location of practice - TBD. There are no cuts. The meets are in progress of being scheduled. We are looking to participate in the "mini meets", which would be held on Tuesday or Thursday afternoons at 4:00pm. There might also be 1 or 2 full day meets. These would probably be during the week. The season ends mid-April. Parent meeting - TBD.

Boys and Girls Tennis - open to 7th and 8th grade boys and girls - begins Tuesday, February 24. Head coach is John Singer (jsinger@shelton.org). Practices will be held on Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 - 5:30pm at the Jewish Community Center. Parents will need to take and pick up their child from practices. There will be some matches and tournaments scheduled. The last practice will be Tuesday, April 30. Parent meeting - TBD.

Boys and Girls Golf - open to 7th and 8th grade boys and girls - begins Tuesday, March 3. Head coach is Mark Lamoreaux (mlamoreaux@shelton.org). Practices will be held on Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 - 5:00pm at the Practice Tee in Richardson. Parents will need to take and pick up their child from practice. There will be 3 matches scheduled. Players should have a basic knowledge of golf to join the team. Parent meeting is Thursday, February 26 at 4:15pm in the Commons. The season will end by April 22.

Boys Baseball - open to 7th and 8th grade boys - begins Monday, February 23. Head coach is Chuck Locke (clocke@shelton.org). Prior to the first game, practices will be held daily from 3:30 - 5:30pm (Monday Thursday) and 2:30 - 4:30pm (Friday). Once the games begin, practices will be held on non-game days (Monday - Thursday). There will not be practices on Friday once games begin. There will not be cuts. The season will end the first week of May. Parent meeting is Monday, March 2 at 6:00pm at the Shelton baseball field.
