At Shambala we fully embrace meaningful connections and sharing from the heart to one and all. At the same time we invite you to abstain from entering a new romantic relationship whilst at Shambala. Our intention is to create a loving space that includes everyone and protect the emotional stability of the group during our time together. The purpose of this abstention is also to harness all that energy that normally goes into sexuality and romantic pursuit, and to channel it towards the pursuit of creativity and self-knowledge. At Shambala we have a 10-day trial period to see if the volunteer and Shambala are a good fit. We encourage volunteers to buy flexible return tickets just in case. After the 10-day period, the volunteer agrees to remain at Shambala until the end of the volunteer period. Please confirm your understanding below. *

Accommodation during your stay will either be in a Soulpad (summer season only) which is canvas glamping ten with lighting and heating or a dormitory room shared by up to 4 people. In both cases, shared bathrooms are close at hand. You are also welcome to stay in your own mobile home. Which option do you prefer? We do our best to grant everyone's requests but please note that we prioritise the needs of long-term volunteers.
