Step Into Stroke Awareness: May Virtual Walking Challenge
Join us this May for the "Step Into Stroke Awareness" Virtual Walking Challenge: A month-long initiative to promote stroke awareness and encourage daily physical activity that supports brain and heart health.
Throughout Stroke Awareness Month, we’re inviting individuals, families, and teams to lace up their sneakers and commit to walking daily. Whether it’s a stroll around the block, a hike in nature, or steps taken during your lunch break, every step counts toward lowering your stroke risk and raising awareness.
Why Walk?
Regular physical activity is one of the most effective ways to reduce the risk of stroke. Walking just 30 minutes a day can help lower blood pressure, improve circulation, and support overall cardiovascular health.
How It Works:
-

-
Track your progress with any fitness tracker or app
-
Share your journey on social media by using #StepIntoStrokeAwareness and tagging @MissGreenMountainsVT and @StrokeAwarenessVT
