National Science Week 2014: ACT Seed Grant Application Form
The ACT National Science Week Coordinating Committee is offering seed grants of between $500 – $1000 (incl. GST) to support science engagement events, programs and activities conducted between 1 July and 31 October 2014. There is a total of $9000 available in this round.
The seed funding is designed to assist innovative, interactive events that are able to attract new audiences. These grants are not intended to fund existing activities.
Applications close 5pm AEST, 13 December 2013. Applicants will be notified of their application's outcome via email before Christmas 2013.

Obligations of successful applicants
If your application is successful, you must:
- List your event(s) on the National Science Week website (

) website by Friday, 18 July 2014. Failure to do so will exclude your event from the free publicity and promotions provided by the ACT National Science Week ACT Coordinating Committee
- Ensure that the National Science Week and Inspiring Australia logos appear on all event materials. Download them here:

- Use the science communication toolkit to evaluate your event. Visit:

- Film or take photos of your event so that it can be used to showcase and raise the profile of National Science Week in the ACT
- Submit a post-event report (no more than two pages) outlining your event/program outcomes along with the budget report (
