The Institute for Global Health and Development at AKU is committed to supporting interdisciplinary research and projects to tackle global health challenges. The IGHD hopes to facilitate internal and external partnerships and collaborations in the projects it supports.

This work is possible by partnering with our AKU faculty members and the associate faculty designation is how AKU faculty can become an active part of the IGHD. As an associate faculty member, you will hold your primary position at AKU. This cross appoint is a second title that supplements your primary posting.

The IGHD is looking for AKU faculty members from all disciplines, schools, and entities that are interested in contributing to the research, projects, and programs conducted by the IGHD that relates to our core thematic areas.
