2014 Anime Central Registration Staffing Application

The Registration Department is the second largest department in the convention. It is one of the most interactive places as you are the first staff the public sees before going into the convention. We work together as a family to get the job done. We encourage cos-play (must be child friendly, and must not interfere with your duties or others around you). Working in Registration is a great opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, and learn the inner workings of Anime Central.

We are looking for dependable people who have awesome people skills; providing great customer service is our main goal. We need people who are highly organized, efficient, and have the ability to adapt as needed to the fluctuations of the registration hall.

    Position Responsibilities:

    ● Data Entry ● Process Registrations ● Cashier ● Customer service ● Set-up Hall & Stocking ● Badge Assembly ● Will-Call (Paid badges ready for pick-up at Convention) ● Other Duties as Assigned

    Schedule:

    The Convention Schedule is Thursday, May 15, 2014 through Sunday, May 18, 2014 You will be required to work a total of 26 hours over the convention weekend. We have multiple types of shifts - some are six hours with a break, while others are split-shifts. Hours are flexible-we will accommodate your desire to see a panel, event, etc, as long as we are not short on staff and it’s not excessive. Prior to the Convention, we will be working on Badge Assembly and Mailing. Participation in at least one Saturday is MANDATORY for all staffers who live within the Greater Chicago Area! Further, all staff must attend our scheduled training sessions in order to work within the Registration Department.
