Poor People's Campaign White Coat Brigade
The Poor People's Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival is uniting tens of thousands of people across the nation to challenge systemic racism, poverty, the war economy, ecological devastation and the United State's distorted moral narrative. We are organizing together to build a national moral movement, led by the poor, those most directly impacted and moral leaders, to transform our nation; Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II, architect of the Moral Monday movement and president of Repairers of the Breach, and Rev. Dr. Liz Theoharis, co-director of the Kairos Center for Religions, Rights and Social justice, are national chairs for the campaign.

From May 13 through June 23, 2018, there will be Monday afternoon rallies at the state legislative buildings in most states and DC, with a culminating rally in DC on June 23. Health professionals for justice in health and healthcare will support the PPC by attending events in their professional attire (White Coat Brigades) on Mondays, especially June 4 which will have an environment and health focus, and by other actions determined at each state or city level.
