Please complete the below to indicate your interest and availability to judge the Virginia/DC High School Mock Trial Regional and State Competition, hosted by the Virginia Law-Related Education Institute (www.govlre.org).

The VLRE offers law-related education opportunities to students throughout the Commonwealth and Washington, DC. Students have been working very hard for the last few months to prepare this case for trial, and we need your help. Experienced lawyers and/or college and law school mock trial students are welcome to judge the competition. You can sign up for one or more rounds.

Both the regional and state competitions are VIRTUAL this year.

***ROUND 1 and ROUND 3 for January 29-30 still need many more judges!***

The regional competitions are being held as follows:
January 29: Round 1 9:00 - 12:00, Round 2 1:00 - 4:00
January 30: Round 3 9:00 - 12:00, Round 4 1:00 - 4:00
February 5: Round 1 9:00 - 12:00, Round 2 1:00 - 4:00
February 6: Round 3 9:00 - 12:00, Round 4 1:00 - 4:00

The state competition is being held as follows:
March 19: Round 1: 9:00 - 11:30, Round 2: 12:00 - 2:30, Round 3: 3:00 - 5:30
March 20: Round 4: 9:00 - 11:30, Round 5: 12:30 - 3:30

Brief guidelines for judging and case materials (optional reading) will be sent ahead of time.
