Teams must throw on the same side of the board. Ex. Team A will line up on the west side with Team B on the east side.
When throwing, players' feet must remain behind the front of the board until the bag is thrown. If you step past the front of the board that bag will be considered a scratch, will not be counted towards score, and will be removed from play for that round.
If a bag is bounced on the board it is not counted and will be removed from play for that round.
The last team to score goes first in the next round.
The first throw of each game will be rock, paper, scissors.
Players must be respectful while other players are throwing.
Throws alternate every other throw.
Bags must be tossed underhand.
A bag that lands on the board is worth one point (woodie). A bag that goes through the hole is worth three points (cornhole). NO two point hangers.
An opponent's bags can cancel out your bags one for one. Ex. Team A has two bags on the board and one in the hole, Team B has one on the board and one in the hole. Team A scores one point.
The first one to reach 21 wins. However If you go over 21 your score is reset to 11 with no points being carried over.
Bags are not to be touched until all bags are thrown.
Players must throw the same color bags for the entire game once the game has started.
Team who loses rock, paper, scissors chooses the side and color of bags.
Each team is responsible for keeping track of their own score.
Score must be agreed upon before each round and before bags are removed from the board.
Winners must report to the score table after the game.
If your team is called and you do not report within 15 minutes you will be disqualified. Please stay close so we can keep games moving.
In an effort to get more players involved, those who have won two consecutive years will be asked to “sit out” for the year following.
