Welcome to Carolina Mahjong Social Club! We are excited you are here and interested in joining our Mahjong League in Lexington, SC.
Our league play will run for 6 sessions in August to October from 6:30-8:30pm. Please see dates below.
League Play is on Thursdays - please make sure you can commit to the dates listed below.
DATES
Week One: Thursday August 13th
Week Two: Thursday August 27th
Week Three: Thursday September 10th
Week Four: Thursday September 24th
Week Five: Thursday October 8th
Week Six: Thursday October 22nd
We will also have additional events at least one time a month in between league play (more details to follow).
This league is for individuals of all levels of American Mahjong but knowledge of the game and rules is required as we will play by National Mahjong League Rules using the 2025 playing card.
Individual points will be tallied through out the sessions and the top 3 players after week 6 will win fabulous Mahjong prizes and we will offer weekly raffle prizes.
Skill Level - To provide the best experience for all players, league placement is ultimately determined by CMSC. If a player's selected skill level does not align with their observed level of play, League Coordinators may reassign the player to a more appropriate division at any time. Our goal is to create balanced leagues that are fun, fair, and enjoyable for everyone.
Substitutes - If you will be out a week (planned or unplanned) you will need to find a substitute. Substitutes should be of equal skill. Placement of subs will be at the discretion of the league coordinators. There will be a deduction of 10 points for utilizing a substitute, but their points earned are part of your cumulative score. If you do not find a sub, the table you’re assigned at will simply play with 3 and follow NMJL 3-player rules. To assist with finding a sub, we will be happy to share a list of contacts with you who have given us permission to do so. You will be responsible for coordinating with them.
We will provide tiles, racks, and mat. Please bring your own 2026 NMJL card and we will have extra on hand to borrow if needed.
Light drinks and snacks will be provided at the events.
Registration Fee is $130.00 for 6 sessions.
Once registration is complete, an email will be sent with additional information.
