We do this through traditional tech support, tech education for those in various ministry roles, and having a role in forming procedures for the best uses of the church's technological resources. While our primary focus is on the church's computers, tablets, internet, internal network, software, email systems, tech accounts, web pages, network files, and printing, we also are ready to assist when necessary on any church system that relies on technology. In terms of how tech systems run day to day, we will always seek simplicity, reliability, stability, security, and redundancy. Someone who likes using technology and has the desire to help others with tech matters would be a good match for this team.
After filling out this short application, the leader of the IT Support Ministry will briefly meet with each applicant. If they are a good fit for this ministry, the volunteer will have a short orientation before they start serving on a team.
