Chat Channels
Thanks for your interest in our Chat Channels! Chat Channels is way to upgrade your communities to include dedicated spaces for casual conversations and connections. It’s an evolution of the chat features you either currently experience or have seen in the past on Reddit. We're excited to expand the chat channels to more communities.
Once enabled, you'll be able to create a public chat channel or a private, mod-only channel for your mod team. 

Chat channels can be created on the native mobile apps and desktop. You can learn more about our upcoming tools on r/redditchatchannels.
