Joining the Dream Team is a great way to use your time, energy, and skills to make a real difference in someone’s life. Whether you are enthusiastically greeting our guests, holding babies in the nursery, or rockin' the drums on the stage, every volunteer has a part in the life-transformation that happens each week at Epic.

Please explore our Dream Team Catalog below which includes a variety of ways you can plug in at Epic. Once you've read through the catalog, click on the area(s) you'd like to check out and then submit the form. We'll then set up a test drive experience for you to see if you enjoy it and it's a good fit. If not, no worries! You are free to explore any area of interest until you find the spot that fits you best.

SUNDAY PREP TEAM

From one Sunday to the next there are things to be done in order to provide a great Sunday service and we couldn’t do without this team whose hard at work, behind the scenes, making things happen.

MIDWEEK SUPPORT (Tues - Thurs): From one Sunday to the next there are a variety of things to be done in order to provide a great Sunday service and we couldn’t do without this team who's hard at work, behind the scenes, making things happen.

CAMPUS CARE (Thursday Nights): This team is made up of the superstars willing to get down and dirty by refreshing bathrooms, trash, vacuuming and window cleaning each week so we can present a clean & professional church for our community to explore faith at.

PROGRAM ASSEMBLY (Thursdays): Folding, paper clipping, and stuffing… it takes an army to get these babies ready to hand out on Sundays.

SETUP / TEARDOWN (Sundays): Occasionally we have events that require us to clear the auditorium floor. If you like getting physical then join the team. We’re just looking for 15 minutes of your time when the opportunities arise to setup or tear down the auditorium chairs.

HOSPITALITY TEAM

We are the first impression of Epic and we’re dedicated to providing an awesome experience for our guests. We’ve got big smiles, outgoing spirits, and our mission is to make our guests feel welcomed, relaxed, and ready to experience the service.

GREETERS (Sundays): We’re on the front line of welcoming our guests to the Sunday services. We smile, say good morning, and are ready to show our guests around in a moment’s notice.

REFRESHMENTS (Sundays): Hot, (melt-in-your-mouth) Krispy Kremes and the aroma of Starbuck’s coffee in the air is where it’s at. This team picks up the donuts and brews the coffee to help make Epic a warm, relaxing and friendly place for everyone who walks through our doors.

SIGNAGE (Sundays): From the street to the seat we want to create a great experience for our guests and outdoor signage is a big part of that. Setting up feather flags & A-frames around our campus perimeter provides the wayfinding tools that help makes it easier for our guests to find their way to the front door of the church.

WORSHIP TEAM

Sight & sound are important in today’s culture and we come together to help create a meaningful and unforgettable experience for those who attend our weekend services.

MEDIA (Midweek): We are the secret agents who prepare the weekly video messages, roll-in clips, animations, or any other video element that helps support the weekend services. No special skills required, just a burning desire to learn this stuff.

BAND (Sundays): Music is powerful tool of expression and whether it’s singing or playing an instrument we allow God to use us to create an environment where hearts and minds can be opened to experiencing the awesomeness of God, no matter where they are at on their spiritual journey.

TECH (Sundays): Lights, camera & action! This team has all the power as they control the mood of the weekend service using strategic lighting, dialing in the right sound, and running the video and message presentation. Computer experience is helpful but definitely not required. We can train.

NEXT GEN TEAM (O – 12TH GRADE)

We’re passionate about our Next Generation and put a lot of time and intention into providing them a great experience. We want our kids (0-5th Grade) have the best hour in their week learning about God’s love for them and that our students (6th – 12th Grade) have an atmosphere that is relaxed, real and relevant, where they can find support and encouragement to live the life God intended for them to live.

KID’S CHECK-IN (Sundays): Front line of fun! Welcome families with a smile, guide them through the process of checking into a classroom and help answer parent’s questions about our Kid’s Program.

NURSERY HELPER (Sundays): Got Baby Fever? They’re our youngest kiddos whom we love to love on each week as we build relationships and trust. We create a warm and safe place for them to explore the wonderful world God made for them.

PRE-SCHOOL HELPER (Sundays): This is our most active group of kids. They are engaged in playtime and activities. They learn about God through weekly Bible stories, music, and express themselves through a variety of arts & craft projects. The focus is to teach them the characteristics of God such as love, kindness, humility, and serving in fun and creative ways.

1ST - 5TH GRADE HELPER (Sundays): Get crazy with this high-energy bunch of curious kids. Help these up-and-comers find their way through exciting presentations, games, art projects, Bible stories, discussion and activities.

STUDENT HELPER (Sundays): Do you like acting like a teenager but have the heart to make an impact. Join us in creating a place where our students can hang out, connect and dig deeper into what Jesus has to offer them through games, video lessons and breakout discussion groups.

PRAYER WARRIORS

If you look at the history of the church, the history of revivals, of great awakenings, it was always connected to people coming together in prayer. Our Prayer Warriors are on the spiritual front lines lifting up our people, our pastor and our church in prayer, asking God to be present and to do great things in and through us.

PRE-SERVICE PRAYER TEAM (Sundays): We are committed to coming together before the service to prayer for God to make a huge impact in the lives of those who attend.

WEEKLY PRAYER TEAM (Midweek): There’s a lot on people’s minds and each week we get a ton of prayer requests from our Sunday Connection Cards. We email those requests to a team of committed people who pray thoughtfully throughout the week for those requests.

PHOTO TEAM

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then every photo we take has the ability to speak thousands of words into the lives of people we will never know.

PHOTO TEAM (Sundays / Midweek): It’s not possible for us to comprehend the reach and impact that our images might have and God has given us eyes to see and a heart to capture it. If you have experience, a camera and a heart for serving, join us as we work together to capture all of the special moments that take place at Epic each week.

BAPTISM TEAM

Life change is what our church is all about and we are excited to be the ones that help make baptism a moment to be remembered.

SET-UP & TEAR DOWN (Midweek): It takes a team to get our baptism set-up, filled up, hot and ready for those who are stepping up to take the plunge.

HOST (Sundays): Baptism is an important step for a Christian but can be somewhat intimidating. Our hosts are warm and friendly and help to ease the nerves of those being baptized as they prepare them for the special moment.

LIFE GROUPS

Our Sunday services are too big to build real community, so the way we connect at Epic is through Life Groups.

GROUP HOSTS (Seasonal): It’s as easy as 1-2-3! As a Life Group Host you provide a safe place for people to come together to build friendships and facilitate discussions around a common interest which. We provide all the coaching and tools needed to run a great group which typically are weekly and last for 8 - 12 weeks.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Who doesn’t love Ice Cream Sunday, Super Bowl Sunday, Nacho Sunday, Easter or Picnic on the Patio? We love to have fun at Epic and hosting special opportunities for our church to gather together to connect and provide events they’re excited to invite their friends to is our goal. If you like party planning, serving food, setting up games and connecting with people we’d love to have you join our team.

SPECIAL EVENTS TEAM SUPPORT

OUTREACH

From raising hygiene items for local refugees, to providing holiday food boxes for families in need, to collecting school supplies for a children’s program in Kenya, we have a heart to serve those in need in our community and around the world. Just watch for opportunities to be announced so you can help make a difference.
