The support of our members is what makes it possible for the Association to continue our efforts aimed at sharing information, developing high standards of professionalism and promoting co-operation. AILIS activities include Library Science Talks, workshops, professional visits, and networking opportunities for librarians and information professionals.

Additionally, AILIS members are entitled to: one vote at the AILIS General Assembly; eligibility to the AILIS Executive Committee; participation in AILIS activities, including a discounted rate for training courses organized by the Association; a discounted registration fee at the IFLA Annual Conference; and access to the AILIS mailing list (including the possibility to share their CV for spontaneous job applications). Membership is for the calendar year.
