This is your chance to get involved! Whether you are new to Quest or you’ve been with us for years, the PSA needs your talents and expertise.

Child(rens) Grade and Class
VOLUNTEER BREAKFAST (Friday, September 22, 8:15 - 9:30 a.m.)
You are Needed! There are so many opportunities to get involved with the Quest community and we'd love to have you! Please join us to learn how to get involved, while it also provides the perfect opportunity to catch up with friends and make new ones! A light breakfast will be served. The following activities will be highlighted: Pumpkinfest, Bookfair, Date Knight, Night of All Knights Auction & Gala and more! If you are unable to attend this breakfast, please sign up for various opportunities below.

Auction & Gala Volunteer Breakfast (Friday, October 6, 8:15 - 9:30 a.m.)
All who are interested in helping specifically with our largest fundraising and social event of the year are invited to this special kick-off breakfast. There are many committees and volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks, both large and small. Bring your creative ideas! A light breakfast will be served. If you are unable to attend this breakfast, please be sure to sign up under the Night of All Knights Auction & Gala section below.

Room Parent Volunteer
Opportunities await at each grade level for Room Parent teams. Our goal is to provide each class with two Room Parents who will assist in a collaborative effort with classroom parties, field trips, class project for the Night of All Knight’s Auction & Gala, and organizing special activities.
I’d enjoy getting to know other parents and helping my child’s class.

Do you like to be surrounded by books and children who love to read? We need 4 - 6 volunteers for an hour or two per week to help check out and shelve books.

Immersion Days Volunteer (November 8, 2017 & March 21, 2018)
During Service Learning Immersion Days, Quest students, teachers, staff and parents roll up their sleeves to help make the world a better place. Activities vary by grade. You can come for the full day, or spend just a few hours helping. Specifics will be sent out a month in advance.
Volunteer to serve at Quest or off-campus.
Transport students to off-campus service locations.
4K Family Walk/Run (Sunday, October 1, 2017)
Are you passionate about fitness? Join us for this celebration of health, fitness and family fun while raising funds in support of Quest's mission!

Pumpkin Fest (Friday, October 27, 2017)
Is Halloween your favorite holiday? We need approximately 30 volunteers to help with this “don’t miss” family event, which includes pizza, games, prizes and pumpkin decorating.

Book Fair (Wednesday, December 6, 2017)
Held at the Barnes & Noble in the Deer Park Town Center, up to 20% of Quest purchases are donated to the Parent School Association. We need 10-12 volunteers to:
Help organize the onsite events for the students and parents to enjoy.
Donate an hour or two to help onsite at Barnes & Noble during the day or evening.
Date Knight (Mother-Son / Father-Daughter Dance & Date Night; Sunday, February 11, 2018)
Our whole community will join together to celebrate the relationships between both mothers and sons and fathers and daughters! Of course there will be dancing, but also games and food! Join us to make this inaugural event a memorable one!

Night of All Knights Auction & Gala (Saturday, March 10, 2018)
This is Quest Academy’s most important fundraising and social event of the year -- the Night of All Knights Auction & Gala. Anyone and everyone can help in a variety of ways, and it’s a great way to socialize with other parents while serving your school. Our Auction Co-Chairs would love to work with you. No experience necessary!
CLASS PROJECTS—Oversee class projects designed and carried out by the Room Parents, teachers and/or students, coordinate deadlines and assist with displaying projects in the lobby.
GRAPHIC DESIGN—Help create computer-designed display pages that will showcase items.
PHOTOGRAPHY—Take photos of all Quest students to be displayed at the Auction and on the party favors and/or of all auction items.
SOLICITATIONS--Help ask for silent and live auction donations and/or ads for our auction catalog.
AUCTION ITEM GATHERING EVENT— Every year we host an event to collect silent and live auction items for the Gala. We need people to help coordinate this event.
SET UP—We need a lot of help transporting auction items, decorations & supplies from school to the auction venue on the day before the auction, as well as help with setting up on auction day.
BASKETS & BOWS—Help create those special baskets so they are ready for auction night.
Fine Arts Night (Thursday, April 26, 2018)
This is an evening to celebrate student artwork. We’re looking for 3 – 5 volunteers to help display the children’s artwork in the hallways with the Art Teachers the morning of the event and/or help with food and drink during the event.

Grandparents’ & Special Friends’ Day (Friday, April 27, 2018)
This is your opportunity to be a part of our Grandparents’ Day festivities, as only parent volunteers may be on campus for this event due to space constraints. We are in need of 8 – 10 volunteers to:
Help serve our guests
Photograph students with their guests in classrooms
Help escort our guests to and from classrooms
Teacher Appreciation Day (Tuesday, May 8, 2018)
Looking for a way to thank our well-deserving teachers and staff? We are looking for 10-12 volunteers to provide a dish or dessert for our teachers and staff to enjoy.

Graduation Celebration (Thursday, May 24, 2018)
Want to attend graduation but can’t get tickets? Consider helping with this special ceremony for our 8th graders. It’s one of the highlights of the year!
