Introduction to 3D Printing Workshop (Spr16)
Are you curious about how 3D printing works and how you can create and print your own 3D models?  In this class, we will provide an overview of 3D printing technologies, learn about the Joyner Library's 3D printing service, and introduce basic 3D modeling tools and online model repositories.

Hayden Holleman, 3D printing specialist in Joyner Library's Teaching Resources Center, will lead introductory workshops on 3D printing in Joyner Library room 1020. The times and dates are below.

These workshops will offer participants a hands-on opportunity to learn about and create objects using 3D printing technology. Participants will learn to design a small part in Tinkercad (www.tinkercad.com), a beginner level 3D modeling software.

No prior experience is necessary.  Each session is limited to 20 participants.
