Discussion group and think tank in Tallinn, 18.-23.10.21
Open call for 10 students who are interested in discussing about formats of presenting art today, the “here and now”. Topics include virtual formats of exhibiting art, the influence of social media in sharing art, the power of Instagram in individual artists' profiles, and the meaning of large scale mass media events in the global art world.

The aim of the course is to develop a new platform for the KUNO biennale.

To apply for the course, we ask you to propose a vision, a curatorial concept for the KUNO Biennale 2022. For the vision, we welcome your thoughts about presenting art in your institution, your previous experiences, and individual, original approaches to curating.

The aim of the KUNO biennale is to bring together the starting artists and curators from the KUNO network and the Nordic-Baltic region - while they are still studying. The winning concept will be realized and the curator(s) can travel and see the studio works, evaluations and graduation shows of the art students of KUNO academies, to choose the participating art students for their concept and vision.

The course will take place in the physical space in Tallinn during the KUNO annual meeting.
