Access Dance Studio Application
Please fill out this form to apply for a 50% discounted rate for dance rental space.
Rules and Eligibility: 

  1. Dancers must be working dancers with a minimum of two years of experience. Dancers must be residents of the Greater Hartford Arts Council’s 34-town service area.  

  2. Dance organizations must be a working organization with a minimum of two years of operation. Dance organizations must be located in one of the Greater Hartford Arts Council’s 34-town service area. Organizations much have 501c3 status. An annual operating budget under $500,000 is required.  

  3. Groups shall not exceed 10 people. 

  4. Space must be used for dance rehearsals only. Space cannot be used for conducting classes or any gathering that charges dancers to participate.

  5. Each dancer or dance organization is limited to 5 hours of discounted rehearsal space per month through this program, between both partner studios.  

  6. Discounted rates apply to studio space rental only. Use or rental of additional amenities is not included in this program. 

  7. Only dancers and dance organizations that are connected to the program partners by the Greater Hartford Arts Council staff will be eligible for the discount 

  8. Rental discounts run from June 2023 through November 2023

All applications will be reviewed for eligibility. If you are considered eligible, a member of the GHAC staff will connect you with the participating studios to book your rehearsal space with them directly.
Funding is limited. Participation is also based on availability of discount funds.
