My name is Miro Zaleta and i am trying to put together a group of people (5 or so?) that are able and willing to commit to about 2-3 hours a week to bootstrap a Citizen Assembly in Aotearoa.
i imagine there are other people within XR that strive for the same. i hope we can support each other.
i see myself as attempting to merge two different pathways towards the goal (a national Citizen Assembly supported by both those with structural power as well as the ordinary folks).
one pathway is the XR thrust for the Climate CA, the other pathway is the Collaborative Aotearoa Project (CAP) that offers additional dimension to the XR's efforts.
i see both pathways leading to the same outcome. i'd like use the wisdom of both.
please look at the materials listed below (if you have not done so as yet) so we can be more effective when we get together.
i am also member of NGL which has been for years now supporting XR on the international level. that is where the CAP comes from.
