What is life without confidence? For women who have not earned a dime for a while or who have not been relevant to the growth of the their family or professionally responsible for the success story of any organization, the feelings of inadequacy are truly overwhelming. For us to restore confidence in women, WELEAD has designed a pathway to empower women financially, emotionally and socially.

At WELEAD, leveraging #EmbraceEquity the IWD 2023 campaign, our focus is to begin a returnship program to help women who have a long career break return to work. This is a great opportunity to help United Nations actualize the SDG 5 – Gender Equality and SDG 8 – Decent Work &| Economic Growth. This returnship program “Women Back-to-Work” will help us upskill and equip eligible women with job readiness skills either for career or entrepreneurship.

This research is aimed at eliciting important data and information that will justify our decision to begin the project, It will also help us understand the needs and expectations of eligible women.
