Full Names of Participants
Please list all persons in your family participating in this trip. Children are welcome to come as long as they are accompanied by an adult to provide care and supervision. Please indicate age if participant is under 18 years old.

Transportation to Guatemala
Each participant is responsible to book their own flight to Guatemala La Aurora Airport arriving Saturday, July 6th and departing Saturday, July 13th. Transportation to and from the airport is included in the trip fee. Please send your flight details to sarah@encountereim.com by Saturday, June 29th. If you need assistance booking a flight, please reach out to us. We will be happy to help!

Cost and Payment
The total cost for this week long trip is $390. Transportation to and from the airport, breakfast, lunch, housing, and the project expense is included in that cost. Half of the total trip cost ($195) is due upon registration to hold the participants space. This payment can be made at www.encountereim.com/missiontrips. Click on the Trip Payment button. Full refunds minus a $10 processing fee can be returned if a trip cancellation is made by July 1, 2024.

Each participant should have access to additional funds for dinners, recreation, and personal needs. Withdrawing from an ATM here in Guatemala and/or using a credit card is recommended (Some locations will not accept a card and cash is needed.)

Please list any medical issues of which we should be aware of during your stay. Please also list an emergency contact with name and phone number. 

High quality medical facilities needed to address significant health issues may be a 1-3 hour drive away from our location depending on traffic. 
Liability
While the staff of Encounter: Equipping in Ministry will be working hard to look after the safety and well being of any participants on this trip, this ministry is not liable in the unlikely event of death or injury. All medical expenses incurred on the trip are the responsibility of the participant. In an emergency situation in which a participant is unable to act of their own behalf, the staff of Encounter: Equipping in Ministry will make the best medical decisions possible to ensure the well being of the participant.

Behavior Expectations
Encounter: Equipping in Ministry is a Christian non-profit organization. We expect trip participants to be orderly and respectful during their time with us. Drunkenness, illegal drug use, overtly disrespectful behavior, or any sexually inappropriate behavior is not tolerated. The staff of Encounter reserves the right to ask a participant to leave the group staying in alternative lodging or booking an early return flight if inappropriate behavior is persistent.
