Urban Agriculture Co-Chair Nominations

Urban Ag Working Group:



Nominate yourself or a colleague to serve as Co-Chair for the Urban Ag Working Group. The deadline for nominations is September 15th, 2025. The Chair(s) serve for two-year terms. There is no restriction on the number of terms that a Chair or Co-Chair may serve within their Subcommittee. Below is a simplified description of the role. 

Key roles and responsibilities of the Co-Chairs: 

  • Lead agenda development (with Co-Chair and PFPC staff).

  • Help review Urban Agriculture Scholarship Grant applications 

  • Assist in the development and planning of the Urban Ag Farm Tour

  • Co-host with PFPC, when applicable, monthly Urban Agriculture Working Group Meetings.

  • Help create a welcoming, inclusive, and productive space for discussion and decision-making.

  • Collaborate with PFPC and Subcommittee members to refine, review, and communicate policy ideas.
