Ghana 2019: Year of Return
Ghana is home to over 40 slaves ports and castles. In 2019, we will make a triumphant return to the land of our ancestors to mark the 400-year anniversary of the arrival of the first enslaved Africans in the United States.

Interact with the chiefs and people of the Senchi Traditional area, visit the two major slave castles of Cape Coast and Elmina for a visual tour and presentation of slavery in Africa and its lasting impact on the world, relax on the beautiful beaches on the coast, and visit the national parks for a reflection of the natural resources deposited on the continent of Africa.

In Accra, visit the museum of the first president of Ghana; Kwame Nkrumah, Dr. W. E. B. Dubois museum which house the remains of the pan-Africanist, and the art market for your authentic Africa crafts.

And of course be introduced to the food and a cooking class, music and dance, and language of the people.
