The Summer 2024 Literacy Tutoring Program will have thirteen (13) literacy tutoring sessions during July:
July 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30 (Open House)
The literacy tutors are MS Literacy Education graduate candidates.
Children in grades 2 through 12 in need of literacy support are considered for participation.
There will be AM and PM tutoring sessions, two hours per session.
The AM sessions will be 9:15 AM to 11:15 AM.
The PM sessions will be 4:15 PM to 6:15 PM.
Children in grades 2 through 6 can participate either in the AM or PM sessions, not both.
Children in grades 7 through 12 will participate in the PM sessions.
All tutoring sessions are on-line. Children need laptops or desktop computers.
Tablets and cell phones are not adequate.
Parents of children chosen to participate commit to having their children attend all thirteen (13) tutoring sessions.
Camp activities, sports activities and family vacations need to be scheduled around the tutoring session times.
*Tuition is $75 for one child in a family, $125 for 2 children in the same family.
Some financial assistance is available.
