This State of the Industry survey will collect information on the design services industry in Oregon, as it pertains to Interior Design and professional Interior Designers. This information will be used to build a higher understanding of the presence, status and impact of Interior Design in Oregon. The responses provided will be analyzed and consolidated into a succinct report that will be shared with State Legislators and through the IIDA Oregon Chapter website.

This will be especially useful in presenting a clear case for the regulation of the practice of Interior Design in Oregon to Legislators during the 2017 Legislative Session. During this session, IDC Oregon plans to introduce a bill IDC Oregon plans to introduce a bill that would all for voluntary registration of Interior Designers (please visit the Advocacy section of the IIDA Oregon Chapter website to learn more: www.iida-or.org). Additionally, we see this as a benefit to our Members and the community-at-large in that the end result will be a useful resource for understanding and tracking our market as it pertains to project types and staffing.

Please note that this survey is COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS. The information we receive will be compiled into a larger set of indistinguishable data. We understand that some of the information we are inquiring about is part of your company's business strategy. If you have hesitation about responding to some of the questions, we understand - but we do ask that you complete the survey to the best of your ability. If your firm has multiple locations, please only respond for your Oregon based location.
