Note that the workshops run for 5 hours each, on both Saturday and Sunday (excluding meal times), so the volunteers would be expected to be present for both the days from start to end - 9:30 am to 5:30 pm

All volunteers are required to attend one general training session.  Are you available to attend training on Jan 10th at 11 a.m. in Downtown Seattle or online <Date TBD>? *
Are you able to bring a laptop for participants to use for the day? If so, what brand/OS? Top of the line is not required but they should have the capability to access the internet.

ChickTech Code of Conduct
ChickTech is committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, or religion.

This code of conduct outlines our expectations for participant behavior as well as the consequences for unacceptable behavior.

Expected Behavior

- Be considerate, respectful, and collaborative.
- Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory or harassing behavior and speech.
- Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants.
- Alert event organizers if you notice a dangerous situation or someone in distress.

Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable behaviors include: intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory or demeaning conduct by any attendees of ChickTech events.  All ChickTech venues may be shared with members of the public; please be respectful to all patrons of these locations.

Harassment includes: offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, disability; deliberate intimidation, stalking or following; harassing photography or recording; sustained disruption of talks or other events; inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior

Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated whether by other attendees, organizers, venue staff, sponsors, or other patrons of ChickTech venues. Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.  If a participant or volunteer engages in unacceptable behavior, the event organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, up to and including expulsion from the event without warning.  If you are subject to unacceptable behavior, notice that someone else is being subject to unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please notify an event organizer as soon as possible.

Release of Liability; Media Permission
To the extent permitted by law, I do hereby:
(1) assume any and all risk and liability for losses or damages to property and for damages, injuries or death to myself which may arise in connection with travel to/from or participation in activities, programs or functions sponsored by ChickTech or its affiliates, and hereby, for myself and my heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, do release and discharge ChickTech and each of its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, predecessors, successors, representatives and assigns (collectively “ChickTech”), from any and all claims, actions, and liabilities arising from or relating to with travel to or participation in activities, programs or functions sponsored by ChickTech or its affiliates, and;
(2) grant permission for videographic, photographic or audio recording of my participation in activities, programs or functions sponsored by ChickTech or its affiliates, and for the use of such recordings by or with the consent of ChickTech for promotional and educational purposes.
