If so, please consider nominating them for a Friend of Children Award, Honorary Lifetime Member Award, or Extended Service Award. FRIEND OF CHILDREN AWARD -- This award may be presented to an outstanding volunteer, teacher, principal, assistant principal, school staff member, school custodian, cafeteria employee, featured speaker, grandparent, or businessperson who continually supports CTMS, the students and/or our PTA. This person is not required to be a PTA member.
TEXAS PTA HONORARY LIFE MEMBERSHIP AWARD – An Honorary Life Membership is one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon an individual by the Texas PTA for outstanding contributions to the well-being of children and youth. This person must be a member of the PTA.TEXAS PTA EXTENDED SERVICE AWARD – In 1987, the Texas PTA Board of Directors developed the criteria for awarding a Texas PTA Extended Service Award to those who have continued to give outstanding service to the Texas PTA. This recipient must have been actively involved in the Texas PTA for 10 years and be a Texas PTA Honorary Life Member recipient.
NATIONAL PTA LIFE ACHIEVEMENT AWARD -- The highest honor from the nation’s largest child advocacy organization—to the person who daily lives out his or her commitment to children.
Awards will be presented at the PTA General Meeting on Monday, April 6th.
