Would you like to be informed of upcoming classroom parties or special projects? There are many opportunities to assist the needs of your classroom teacher. One way is through your child’s Room Parent. A Room Parent is assigned to each teacher at the beginning of the year. The Room Parent job is to support the teacher by helping to coordinate parties and special projects. This is successful when we have volunteers to support our Room Parent. Please remember that you do not have to be at school to help.
Here are some ways to help and support your teacher’s Room Parent:
* Donating supplies for projects
* Donating/baking food for parties
* Attending/helping during classroom parties/projects
* Assembling items at home
* Monetary donations
