Divest Dal: Retreat Yourself 2016
Divest Dal invites you to join us for our Winter 2016 retreat; a weekend of strategy and fun. With the Senate’s report on divestment, we’re as close as we’ve ever been to a divestment victory at Dal! So, we’ve got a big year ahead of us. The retreat will be an opportunity to root ourselves in our vision and to build out a strategy for the coming year.

When: February 27th - 28th
Where: 6 Primrose St, Dartmouth, NS (wheel-chair accessible)
Who: This retreat is open to everyone, whether you’ve been involved for three years or not at all!
Cost: None!

The retreat will take place just across the harbour in Dartmouth where we will have access to a fantastic space including an industrial kitchen that will be used to cook delicious food to nourish our bodies and minds!  

Check out the agenda below for details of the programming for the weekend.  You can see that there is a shorter day planned on Sunday. This will allow folks some time between the retreat and the week ahead.  Our hope is that this allows people to attend the full weekend. You won’t be required to bring anything though you may want to bring supplies for taking notes.

Can’t attend on the 8th?  Contact us to set up a coffee date with someone on our team who can go over the in’s and out’s of divestment and our campaign with you. This way you can get the most out of the retreat!

Can you commit to attending the entire retreat?
The retreat will start at 9am Saturday morning and will end around 7pm. We will begin again at 9 am Sunday and hope to be done around 3pm. Keep in mind there are lots of breaks and "open space"/
