This interest form is for the parent-led FIYA League. FIYA teams compete against other schools throughout the LA area (private, charter, and public schools). Team selection can be competitive so tryouts will be held.

Schedules are determined by coach availability and the FIYA League schedule. Families can generally expect 1–2 practices and one game per week. There is a participation fee, and scholarships are available.

Please note: FIYA is a 100% parent-run league. Each sport requires 1–2 parent coordinators AND at least one coach for the team to be established. If parent coordinators and coaches are not secured, the team will not be able to form and participate, regardless of player interest.

Parent coordinators work closely with the FIYA coordinator and coaches to help communicate practice and game schedules, serve as the primary liaison between families, coaches, and the league, and assist with general team logistics throughout the season. The responsibilities are shared between the coordinators, and support is provided along the way.===
